How To Make Vegetable Fried Rice

How To Make Vegetable Fried Rice _ Besides tasty, vegetable fried rice is also good for health. And now on, i will introduce how to make it. That is simple and easy. So, everybody can do.

Before making vegetable fried rice, we must prepare Ingredients needed. That is :

Vegetable Fried Rice

1. Basmati rice - 1 cup
2. Oil -1 tsp for cooking rice
3. Beans - 1/4 cup finely chopped
4. Carrot - 1/4 cup finely chopped
5. Cabbage - 1 cup shredded
6. Capsicum -1/4 cup finely chopped
7. Spring onion greens - 2 1/2 tbsp finely chopped
8. Garlic -1 1/2 tbsp
9. Ginger - 1 inch piece
10. Olive oil/Any refined oil - 2 1/2 tbsp
11. Vinegar - 1 tsp
12. Soya sauce -2-3 tsp
13. Salt and Pepper powder to taste.

And the Preparation :

  1. Soak Basmati rice for 15 minutes and cook adding 1 1/2 cups of boiling water and a tsp of oil. Fluff it with a fork and spread it on a plate to cool.The cooked grains should be separate.
  2. Finely chop beans, carrot, capsicum and spring onion greens.
  3. Mince garlic and ginger
  4. Shred cabbage into thin fine strip.

Method To Make Vegetable Fried Rice is:

1. Heat oil in a pan, when the oil is very hot, add garlic and ginger, saute for a few seconds.Then add beans and fry for a few seconds, followed by carrot, cabbage, capsicum and spring onion greens. (Add vegetables in the same order)

2. All the vegetables should be sauteed on high flame and continuous stirring is necessary as we want the vegetables to be crunchy and not fully cooked.

3. Add cooked rice, soya sauce, vinegar, needed salt and pepper. Mix well and serve hot.
